Anthony L. Morrone has been a certified public accountant since 1977 and has been a member of Horan, Martello, Morrone, P.C. since 1980. He has been involved in matters relating to more than 100 various healthcare facilities throughout New York State. His expertise includes comprehensive knowledge of the Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement systems, the related rules and regulations, and the administrative procedures governed by the State.
Anthony has lectured extensively throughout New York State for NYSHFA, NYAHSA, HFMA and The American College of Health Care Administrators on matters relating to compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Anthony specializes in a broad background in accounting and management services. His expert knowledge extends to third-party reports, which gives him inclusive familiarity of system controls, budgeting, taxation projections and operational studies.
To be sure, Anthony has taken the development of operational studies to an unseen level. His operational platform allows for the measure of the relationship of the performance level of an entity’s cost structure to the corresponding revenues derived from third-party rate methodologies.
Moreover, Anthony has served as a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants Healthcare Committee. And on healthcare issues, Anthony has contributed numerous publications to The Nursing Homes Long-Term Management and the CPA Journal.
Anthony is also an active member of the community. He served as a volunteer in youth ministry at Hope House. He currently invests much of his time to the ATDC/Angela’s House Committee, which promotes coordination of complex home care services and residential services for medically frail children living on Long Island.
Among Anthony’s other personal pursuits is his passion for writing. He has published a unique children’s awareness book called Born Under A Lucky Star. His second book entitled The Vanity Mirror speaks to the universal insecurities that bedevil us all. His books are infused with Christian values. Which inspired Father Paul Keenan on “Religion on the Line” to interview Anthony for his involvement with ATDC/Angela’s House.
